The award was presented by Pat Carvalho, Principal and CEO of Birmingham Metropolitan College, making the occasion even more special for everyone at BRAMA.
The Community Inspiration Awards 2026 featured 21 award categories, each celebrating a different aspect of community life and the people and organisations creating positive change.
This year, hundreds of nominations were received. Eight finalists were shortlisted in each category, bringing together almost 170 exceptional finalists who demonstrated what can be achieved when communities work together with a shared vision.
For BRAMA, this award is much more than a recognition of our organisation. It celebrates the people at the heart of everything we do.
We are incredibly proud of our learners, teachers, volunteers, partners and supporters. Their dedication, trust and involvement make it possible for BRAMA to continue supporting refugee communities and creating opportunities for people to learn, connect and build their futures.
This award belongs to all of us.
